David Lewis Salazar, Jr., age 68, was called to Heaven on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at his home in Trinidad, Colorado. David was born in 1952 to David and Betty Rose Salazar and siblings Stanley and Alma, Edward and Stella, Linda, who preceded him in death, and David.
Dave was a skilled carpenter, hard-worker, and loving partner, son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He enjoyed keeping his yard beautiful, dancing, going to the casinos, and taking care of his pets, Princess and JoeJoe.
Dave will be lovingly remembered by his six children, Tanya, Miguel, David, Roxanne, Noah, and Katie and his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, as well as his partner of eight years, Linda Lucero, and her children, Brandy, Frank, and Soylo, who preceded him in death.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Comi Funeral Home on Friday, May 28th, 2021 at 11:00 am. A reception will follow at Fort Wootton Veteran’s Memorial Square. Arrangements made under the direction of the Comi Funeral Home.
