Frank Molinaro went to be with our Lord, at the age of 89, on January 4, 2021 passing from natural causes. He was born in Jansen, Colorado on July 12, 1931 to Annie Tortorelli and Frank Molinaro, his father who proceeded him in death one month before he was born.
He married JoAnn Tamburelli and they celebrated 60 years of marriage.
Frank worked for Sayre Motors, then 20 years with Dominic Leone Construction and retired as a Coal Miner after working for an additional 20 years. Frank was a very devoted, hardworking and caring husband and father. He was so very proud of his 10 grandsons that he loved very much. He enjoyed playing sports with them and being the proud spectator for their games.
Frank’s passion for his gardening and green thumb made him the neighborhood produce supplier. He loved working in the yard and taking care of his fruit trees that brought him great pleasures. He was a self-taught mechanic that enjoyed working on the family vehicles. An avid Colorado sports fan, following the Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish and was currently a member of Saint Joseph Parish in Pueblo where he made Pueblo his home the last 2 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, step-father Frank Quintieri, his beloved grandson Frankie Molinaro III, brothers Guy (Mary) and Carmen Molinaro, sister Raffie Molinaro, father and mother-in-law Sam and Sara Tamburelli, in-laws Frank Tamburelli and Mark Hornstein.
He is survived by his wife JoAnn, children, Frank Jr. (Janet) Molinaro, AnnaMarie Haslett, Judy Costanza, and Jodi (Bert) Miller. Grandsons, Anthony and Vince Molinaro, Floyd and Eric Haslett, Joey (Kyndra) and Jacob Costanza, Mitch, Ryan (Jamie) and Peyton Miller, great granddaughter Presley Costanza, sister Rose Peretto, in-laws Carm Horstein, Joe (Helen) Tamburelli and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 10, from 3 – 7 p.m. at Comi Chapel in Trinidad. Funeral Mass will be Monday, January 11, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at the Trinidad Catholic Cemetery.
Active pallbearers are his 9 grandsons; Joey, Mitch, Jacob, Anthony, Ryan, Vince, Floyd, Eric and Peyton.
