Alfonso Elias Arellano

Alfonso Elias Arellano, age 91, died on Thursday, December 10, 2020, in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. A Memorial service will be held at a later date at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Springer, New Mexico.
Alfonso Arellano was born December 19, 1928, in Springer, New Mexico to Cesario and Rebecca Arellano. He grew up in Springer, he served in the US Army, then attended and graduated from Highlands University in Las Vegas. His career spanned working for the US Post Office, Principal at the New Mexico Boys School, and for many years he was the Principal of Springer High School. He married Ophelia (Duran) Arellano on July 11, 1956. Alfonso was preceded in death by his brothers, Margarito and Avencio (Lalo), and by sisters Andelica (Annie) and Elydia (Lila).

Four Sons:
Alfonso Jr and wife Tammy of Knightstown, Indiana; Joey and wife Charlotte of Thornton, Colorado; Louie of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and Robert and wife Ann of Highlands Ranch, Colorado
Two Daughters:
JoAnn Rogers and husband Bret of Highlands Ranch, Colorado and Annie Bauler and husband John of Littleton, Colorado
