Following guidance from the CDC and recommendations from state and local public health authorities, the visitor center and park store at Capulin Volcano National Monument will be temporarily closed as of March 17. The road to the top of the volcano will be open 8:30 AM-4:00 PM. All trails will be open to the public. Restrooms at the top of the volcano will be open.
Due to growing public concerns and the guidelines for social distance and gatherings for the Corvid-19 virus, our March 21st scheduled astronomy event is canceled. We will have more information on the April event as that date approaches.
