Rodney Stewart Judy was born on January 22, 1932 to Harry Lee and Evelyn Judy in Roy, New Mexico. He graduated from Roy Municipal Schools.
Rodney married Gina Cordova on May 13, 1960. They moved to Pueblo and owned and managed La Cocina. Rodney cooked and Gina waitressed for several years. They moved back to Roy, remodeled a home while they lived in it. Later they purchased the implement company building from Donald Pritchard and remodeled it also. Rodney and Gina bought and sold antiques, made eclectic art work, beautiful rope baskets and decorated/ painted gourds and one-of-a-kind crosses and picture frames.
Rodney is survived by his wife, Gina of the home, his daughter Vickie Esquibel, granddaughters’ Jennifer, Carissa and grandson Daniel. He has 8 great grand children and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Rodney was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Charles Lujan.
Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 10:00 am at United Church of Roy in Roy, NM, with Pastor Jason Garrison officiating. Cremation has taken place and burial of cremains will be held at Roy Cemetery in Roy, NM.

I spent some time with Rod back in the mid 60’s in Raton. He was one of the good guys !!
