In Loving Memory of Anthony “Trunks” Vigil, (Carl A. Vigil III), who was called Home on November 4, 2019. He was born August 18, 1988. He was a very smart and loving boy who grew into a very intelligent and loving man. He loved to read, he loved numbers and most of all, he loved sports and his family. He knew he was dearly loved by many throughout his short life. He had plans to do better things, but Our Lord had even bigger plans.

Anthony is preceded in death by his dad, Carl A. Vigil II (Buggy), brother, Daniel Grine, grandparents, Josie and Carlos Vigil, Uncle Mike Vigil, grandma Sarah Romero and grandma Diane Arguello. He is survived by and will be eternally remembered by his mother, Lori Romero, stepmother, Pam Shoemaker, brothers, Josh Romero and partner Ashley Adams, Mike Vigil, Christopher Romero and his only sister, Brie Vigil.

Also, surviving Anthony are his nephews Noah, Jonas, and Sage, and nieces Kia and Eve, his grandparents, Rose Zorn and Kevin Joshua, Johnny Grine, Gilbert Arguello, and Dorthy Shoemaker, uncle James Vigil, aunt Gloria Montoya, uncle and aunt Joe and Bekkah Pond. Also, cousins James (Ashley), Carlos and Daniel Vigil, and their children.

Viewing to be held at the Alderette-Pomeroy Funeral Home November 19, 2019, from 2-4pm.

Recitation of The Most Holy Rosary will be held on November 20, 2019 at 10:00 a.m at St. Patrick’s/St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Raton, NM, recited by Deacon Thomas Alderette followed by the Solemn Mass of The Resurrection with Father Bill Woytavich as the Celebrant. Reception to follow at the St. Patrick’s/St. Joseph’s Parish Hall.
