In Loving Memory of Josephine Sandoval

Josephine Sandoval was called on Monday, September 23, 2019 to begin a new and everlasting life. Without hesitation, she answered the call and left peacefully. Josephine was born September 29, 1941 in Raton, N.M. resided in Trinidad, CO for 58 plus years with husband Pat.
Josephine was preceded in death by her parents Juan B. and Marina G. Salazar, brothers Gilbert and Lawrence and her Loving Husband Pat. Josephine is survived by her brothers, Eloy (Mary) and Johnny (Margaret), daughter Patricia (Gene) Medrano, sisters Betty and JoAnn (Chris) Casey, sister in law Annie Salazar, Grandsons Brandon and Jeremy Medrano, nieces Kristin, Lisa, Monique, Debbie and Kimberly and nephews Johnny (Little) , Larry and great nephew Tim Salazar.
All who knew Josephine have memories of her as she touched and was touched by each one of us. These are the memories we hold true and define the person Josephine was. Aside from her family, deceased and living, her biggest joy in life was her work, beautician, and her Ladies. She was the family historian and collector of many items collectible which gave her great pleasure as well. ā€‹
Josephine had her own sense of humor and as you knew her and drew closer to her, she could make you laugh at the smallest saying or her actions. You can see, hear and feel her emotions when you listen to the song by Fats Domino, Iā€™m Walking to New Orleans. As we feel the pain for our loss, we trust in God to heal that pain and our lives be forever changed. ā€‹
