In Loving Memory of Barbara Dolores Zuniga

Barbara Dolores Zuniga, age 72, passed away on August 1, 2019 at home, where she was lovingly cared for by her son and daughter in law , Matthew and Kristina.
She was born in Pueblo, Colorado on April 8, 1947 to Mary Eva and Manuel Romero.
Dolores attended area schools graduating from Holy Trinity High School in 1965.
She was employed for 8 years as a foster grandparent at Headstart School, where she was affectionately known by the children as Grandma Dolores .
Preceding her in death are parents, Mary Eva and Manuel Romero, sister Phyllis Romero, infant brother Manuel Anthony Romero, infant sister Barbara Joyce Romero and nephew Sonny Romero.
Survivors include children, Matthew (Kristina) Zuniga, Trinidad, Adam (Heather) Zuniga, Ohio, Natalie (George) Zuniga-Betscakos, Ohio, Jeremy Zuniga, Colorado Springs, CO, brother Anthony (Jeannie) Zuniga, San Diego, CA., sister Mary Catherine (Gary) Neamon, San Diego, CA, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Rosary will be FRIDAY, August 9, 2019 at 7pm at the Comi Chapel.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated MONDAY, August 12, 2019 at 10am at Holy Trinity Church.
Private inurnment will be held at a later date.
