Anna Rino, former resident of Trinidad, CO, passed away at peacefully at home on February 16, 2019 at the tender age of 92.
She was born in Cokedale, CO on April 10, 1926, to Maria (Rosati) and Frank Rino.
Anna was a country singer, having performed all over the country including Nashville.
She beat out Jeanine C. Riley , of Harper Valley PTA fame, in Michigan Top Ten Songs, with the song, “Rain is The Tear Drops of Angels”.
During her travels, she met many famous entertainers including, Minnie Pearl, Ernest Tubbs and Hank Williams Sr.
Her greatest love was her family and raising her children properly.
She always had a smile on her face and a song in her heart.
She will best be remembered for her big heart and generosity to all who were fortunate enough to know her
Anna was preceded in death by her parents, Maria and Frank Rio, her son Leonard Early and all her siblings., Lucy, Carmen, Jimmy, and Adelina.
Left to cherish her memory are children, Arlene Boday, Walsenburg, Leon Payne, TX, Bobby Seme, Westminster, Debbie Seme, Westminster, Jeannie Seme, grandchildren, Anna, Jason, Joshua, Noel, Izabella, Iris, numerous nieces , nephews, cousins , other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, from 3pm-6pm at the Comi Chapel.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday. February 21, 2019 at 10am at the Comi Chapel with Brother Harry Gonzales officiating.
Entombment will follow at the Trinidad Catholic Cemetery.
