In Loving Memory of Yolanda Valentine Trujillo Olguin

Yolanda Valentine Trujillo Olguin, age 76, passed away at her home in Arvada CO, on December 22, 2018.
She was born on July 11, 1942, in Hoehne, Colorado, the daughter of Esther (Olguin) and Antonio Trujillo.
She was raised in Hoehne, and graduated from Hoehne High School in 1960.
Yolanda attended TSJC receiving her LPN Degree in 1962,
On August 18, 1962, Yolanda was united in marriage to James Olguin, also from Trinidad.
They moved to Denver Colorado where she worked at several hospitals including, St. Joseph’s and St. Anthony’s.
The couple had two children, James Jr. in 1966 and MIchelle in 1969.
Yolanda attended Front Range Community College and received her RN Degree in 1992.
Preceding her in death are parents, Esther and Antonio, sister Phyllis and brother Anthony.
Survivors include husband James Olguin Sr., son Jim Jr., daughter Michelle, grandchildren, Zari, Jim III, Jessica, Jonae and Justin, great grandchildren,
Lia Olguin, and Irvin Ruiz Olguin.
Several nieces, nephews and extended sisters Dorothy, Beatrice, Mary Jane, Rose Eleanor and one extended brother also survive.
Visitation will be Thursday from 3pm-7pm at the Comi Chapel.
Rosary will be recited by Deacon Alfonso Sandoval on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 7pm at the Comi Chapel.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, January 4, 2018 at 10am at Holy Trinity Church.
Interment with Rite of Committal will follow at the Trinidad Catholic Cemetery.
Active pallbearers are Kenny Trujillo, Arthur Romero. Carlos Olguin, David Hernandez, John Trujillo, Eric Castillo and Mark Trujillo.
