Michael J. Quintana, age 36, went safely Home in the arms of Jesus on April 12, 2018.
He was born in Trinidad, Colorado on May 9, 1981 to Katherine (Barela) and Lupe Quintana.
Michael attended area schools.
He was owner and operator of Quintana’s Quality Trees and Landscaping. A job he took great pride in doing.
He would even have competitions with his brother and other family members to see who could “dig the tree” faster.
He enjoyed listing to music, going to the mountains and eating.
His greatest joy and loves of his life were his children and family.
Preceding him in death are grandparents Victoria and Anastacio Barela, uncle Ralph Barela, aunt Alice DeLeon and other family members.
Michael will sadly be missed by his children, Michael, Alex, Isaac, Adrian, Eliajah, and Serenity Quintana, parents Catherine and Lupe Quintana, siblings Lisa (Wallis) Miles, Laura Quintana (Joseph Vega), Omar Quintana (Sharaya Martinez), numerous nieces, nephews , aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Visitation will be Thursday from 1PM-3PM at the Comi Chapel.
PLEASE NOTE; Rosary will be held Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 4PM at Holy Trinity Church.
Funeral Mass will be Friday, April 20, 2018 at 10Am at Holy Trinity Church.,
Interment will follow at the Trinidad Catholic Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers are Isaac Quintana, Adrian Quintana, Gabriel DeLeon, Joshua Barela and Jose Quintana.
Active pallbearers are Omar Quintana, Michael Quintana Jr., Derek Miles, Alex Quintana, Carlos Mascarenas, Mario Quintano.
Immediately following the graveside services a. Celebration of Life potluck reception will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall.
