Finis Duff Blocker Jr., passed away at Mt. San Rafael Hospital on March 7, 2018 after a lengthy illness. He was 75.
He was born in Trinidad, Colorado on April 4, 1942, the son of Irma (Galasso) and Finis Duffy Blocker Sr.
In 1959, Duffy was united in marriage to Betty L. Zanini in Taos, NM.
He was a barber for over 50 years having worked with his father and then with his son, at Duffy’s Barber Shop until his retirement.
During this time, Duffy touched many lives and over the years made many special friends.
He loved boating and drag racing. He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan.
Duffy was Past President and member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge No 179, for over 25 years.
Preceding him in death are parents, Duffy Blocker Sr., Irma Ringo, son David Blocker, mother and father in law Louise and David Zanini and brother in law Joe Falduto.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Betty Blocker, sons Finis Duff (Gina) Blocker III, Gerald Blocker, daughter Brenda Felthager and son in law Jack D. Felthager Jr., grandsons, Jack D. Felthager III Jared (Brittany) Felthager and Eric Blocker, sister Rosalie Falduto (Buddy), brother Joe (Kim) Ringo, sisters and brothers in law, Joanne (Joe) Micheli, David (Barbara) Zanini, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many special friends.
At Duffy’s request, cremation with private family services.
