Raton High School Tiger Gym was filled with camoflauge as 37 young men and women were honored with passing the Young Marines training program. Family and friends were on hand to witness the ceremony that also included a small cake cutting ceremony to honor the Marine Corp birthday.

Adan Garcia, Rochelle Jackson, Matthew Quatieri and Jonah Rael were also promoted to the rank of Private First Class. Many of these students will move on to help with the next class of Young Marines that will begin early in 2014.
