Dorothy Frances Encinias, age 71 of Raton, passed away Tuesday July 4, 2017 in Raton. She was born July 17, 1945 in Raton, NM, the daughter of Tercio and Abelina Lopez-Encinias. Dorothy was a home maker, and loved Spanish Music, playing lotto games, casinos and spending time with her family. She enjoyed puzzles with her little sidekick Charity.
She is preceded in death by her son, James, sister, Lucy Bisconti Vit, and nephews, Michael and Louie and Nathan Martinez and grandson Xavier Jaramillo and brother in law Robert Martinez. She is survived by three daughters, Marsha Trujillo and husband Andrew, of Raton, Esther Martinez of Raton and Christina Gallegos. Two sons, Raymond Jaramillo of St. Stockton, TX, and Albert Gallegos and wife Lorrie, and Sister Arsenia Martinez. Along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren
Recitation of the most Holy Rosary will be Wednesday July 12, 2017 at 9:30 A.M. at the Yaksich-Long Funeral Home Chapel recited by Larry Guara. A memorial service will follow at 10:00 A.M. Inurnment will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
