Congratulations to Mrs. Linda Casper and Maxwell’s FCCLA chapter. They competed in state and national contests during the first weekend. Students that competed were Ricci Molina, Anthony Molina, Seth Henriquez, Hunter Kuchan, Zach Myers and Cayden Floyd.
Students received the following medals:
Ricci Molina received a silver in Knife Skills and Chapter Service Display
Seth Henriquez received a gold in Interpersonal Communications and silver in Knife Skills
Hunter Kuchan received a silver in both Thematic Production and Food Innovations
Caden Floyd received a silver in Knife Skills and a bronze in Advocacy
Zach Myers received a gold in Food Innovations and a bronze in Crede
Anthony Molina received a silver in Chapter Service Display
Anthony Molina, Hunter Kuchan, Seth Henriquez and Zach Myers will move on and represent Maxwell and New Mexico at the National competition held in Nashville, TN this summer.

Congratulations also to Mrs. Kelly Jones and Maxwell’s state qualifier, Daimon Sisneros-Underwood and Maxwell’s Honorary State Reporter, Lexie Hoy. Daimon will represent Maxwell in the state Poetry Out Loud Competition to be held on Sunday in Santa Fe at the NM Museum of Art beginning at 1:00 pm. Good Luck Daimon!
