Clifford “Papa / Papa Kitchen” Kitchen, 62, of Pueblo, CO went to be with the Lord on March 2, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Roseanna Kitchen and is survived by his wife of 37 years Juanita (Doran) Kitchen and their daughter Lauren Kitchen, son Jared (Nicole); grandchildren, Dillon and Emma, in-laws John & Sophia Doran of Pueblo West, brothers Kenneth (Pamela), Richard (Sandra), and sister Sharlayne (Bernard) all of Cheboygan, MI.
Cliff was in the US Navy for 21 years and he and his family lived and traveled the world and the US. Cliff was blessed to have remained close friends with many of his shipmates. Cliff worked at PCC, but always said that it wasn’t “work” because the PCC employees, administration, vendors, students, and most especially, his team, were FAMILY; he loved them all dearly! Cliff loves to golf, refinish furniture, work his ranch, hunt with his father-in-law, collect coins with his mother-in-law, and tell corny jokes. Cliff especially enjoyed traveling with his wife, Juanita, taking family trips, camping and spending time with his family. Cliff will be remembered for his incredible strength, resilience, and for always being a man of honor. Cliff will be sorely missed by so many, too many to name here, but you know who you are. Cliff will be forever loved and cherished by Juanita and all of his family.
Mass will be on Wed., March 8, 2017, at 9:00 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Pueblo West, reception is sponsored by PCC at the Fortino Ballroom following the services, and internment will be at 2:00 at the Catholic Cemetery in Trinidad, CO. Fair winds and following seas!
