Rose Ellen Hronich Blais, daughter of Joe and Mary Lou Hronich, was born on the 17th day of September 1948 in Raton, New Mexico. Rose passed on the 22nd day ofSeptember 2016 in her 68th year, with her daughter by her side.
She attended Maxwell High School and continued onto Draughn’s Business College, before moving to New Hampshire where she spent the majority of her years.
Rose loved gardening and flowers, she had a fondness for the Boston Celtics, and enjoyed reading, knitting and the arts. She participated in Meredith Community Center activities and was an avid supporter of the American Cancer Society. Rosetook real pleasure in travelling and experiencing different cultures and foods.
Rose is survived by her daughter, Jessica; brother Robert and sister Betty; nieces, Melody, Melinda, Melissa and Amy; nephews, Joe, Doug, and Jeremy; grand-niece Kelly; grand-nephews Jimmie, Ryan and Lane.
Special thanks to numerous family friends who provided loving care for Rose during her illness including Genesis Rehabilitation and VNA staff members.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, November 19, 2016, at Maxwell Cemetery in Maxwell, New Mexico at 11:00 a.m. followed by a celebration of life at Colfax Tavern & Diner.
In lieu of flowers, to remember Rose you may consider a donation to the Meredith Community Center, the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
