The Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership, together with Raton High School, would like to announce and congratulate Makayla San Roman and Jose Archuleta as the selected Raton High School Representatives to the 2017 HOBY Leadership State Seminar. The Seminar will be held in June 2017 at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The seminar is only open to students in the 10th Grade. Since 1958, HOBY has been providing transformative leadership development training to positively impact the lives of thousands of high school students in the United States and abroad annually. Students return to their schools and communities as leaders equipped with advanced leadership training, self-awareness and the motivation to make impactful change. HOBY’s mission is to develop a global community of youth and volunteers to a life dedicated to leadership, service and innovation.
