Alphonso Trujillo passed away at home on Sept 3, 2016 at the age of 96.
He was born on Oct 29, 1919 in Sarcillo, CO. Alphonso was a graduate of Primero High School and Adams State College in Alamosa.
He served three years in the Army’s Air Force. He then lived the rest of his live in the Trinidad area. He was a miner, business owner, teacher and principal.
He is preceded in death by his wife Adeline, son Gary and grandson Troy.
He is survived by son Ken (Sheri) Trujillo, brother-in-law Piff (Mary Jane) Vigil, sister-in-law Irene Salvatori and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom were dearly loved.
Services will be Friday Sept 9, 2016 with Visitation from 9Am -12, with the Rosary at 12:00 at Comi Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Mass will follow at 1:00PM at the Sebastiani Gym.
Interment will follow at Trinidad Catholic Cemetery with graveside services conducted by Ft. Carson Honor Guard.
Honorary pallbearers are Ernie Sanchez, Matt Trujillo, Ray Salvatori, Howard Salvatori, Michael Duran, and Mark Bayes.
Active pallbearers are David Stigall, James Gonzales, Ernie Truiillo, Daniel Duran, Joe Duran and Garrett Stigall.
