FNB New Mexico sponsored their 19th Annual Teacher’s Luncheon on August 17, 2016 to help celebrate the start of the new school year. FNB New Mexico employees served over 180 teachers, administrators and staff during this event. Everyone enjoyed Subway sandwiches, chips, drinks, cookies and ice cream. The Raton Tiger Cats Dance Team helped serve the meal, and the Raton Football Team assisted with the setup and take-down of the tables and chairs.
Several door prizes were awarded by FNB New Mexico, including gift cards and a computer case. A gas grill was donated by Raton Natural Gas Company/Penny Peryatel. There were also donations of gift baskets from Flowerland/Debbie Trujillo and from Enchanted Grounds Espresso Bar & Grill/Katie Feldman. KRTN broadcast a live remote of the event on FM 93.9.
