David Elias Padilla, age 71, passed away August 13, 2016 at the Trinidad Inn Nursing Home.
He was born in Valdez, CO on September 11, 1944 to Felicita (Santistevan) and Jesus Padilla.
He was preceded in death by sister-in-law Annie Abeyta-Padilla, brothers-in-law Don Stice and Rudy Alire.
He is survived by wife Shirlee, son David A. Padilla, daughter Tammy Padilla-Ludvik, grandson Nicholas Padilla and his sweet mother Laura, brothers Joe, Lloyd (Virginia), John (Margie), Ed (Mae), Dan, Ken (Alice) Padilla, sisters, Beatrice Alire, Lucille Stice, step-daughters and their children, Janan Abdul Hadi, Christine, Rosalinda and Artee Cabral, special step-grandchildren, Mai (Khalid) Rahkil, Nekia Fronda (Jacob Cordova), Michael Cabral, several step-great grandchildren, special aunt, Lucy Santistevan, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:30 PM – 7 PM at the Comi Chapel.
Funeral Services will be Thursday, August 18, 2016 at 10 AM at the Comi Chapel with Pastor Lloyd J. Padilla and Pastor David Boyer officiating.
Interment will follow at the Trinidad Masonic Cemetery.
