Manuel B. Trujillo, age 86, died Sunday, May 8, 2016 at his home in Clayton, New Mexico.
Rosary will be recited at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 12, 2016 by Deacon P. Louis Montoya and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 13, 2016 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton, New Mexico with Fr. Joel Bugas as Celebrant. Burial will follow in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.
Manuel B. Trujillo was born on August 9, 1929 in Roy, New Mexico to Frank Trujillo and Geneva (Blea) Trujillo. Manuel worked for the Town of Clayton for twenty years and then for the State Highway Department for ten years before he retired. Manuel married Polly Trujillo, on November 3, 1953 in Clayton, New Mexico and they were married for 63 wonderful years. He loved his grandchildren and lived to watch his children and grandchildren play basketball. He loved sporting events. Polly and Manuel were hand and hand, what he did not do she did for him and what she did not do he did for her, hand and hand. Manuel truly believed that you work hard at everything that you do and do it to the best of your ability. He always encouraged his kids to work hard and to be the best that they can be and he was always their for them at any time if they ever needed anything. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton. Manuel was preceded in death by his parents and by 5 sisters and 4 brothers.

WIFE: Polly Trujillo of Clayton, New Mexico.
1 DAUGHTER: Jeanette Replogle and her husband Dan of Clovis, New Mexico.
2 SONS: Louis Trujillo and his wife Terri of Clayton, New Mexico and Mike Trujillo and his wife Athena of Rio Rancho, New Mexico.
7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
