Annie M. Pesavento, age 85 of Raton, NM, passed away Friday, April 1, 2016 in Raton.
She was born July 26, 1930 in Van Houten, NM, the daughter of Antonio and Christina Rodighiero-Pesavento. Annie had worked for many years in her brothers store, and was a rancher and farmer. She was a member of St. Patrick’s-St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Raton.
Annie is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Ernest, Emilio and Dominic, one sister Mary Sallese.
She is survived by one brother Tony Pesavento of Raton, two nieces, Christine Leiker and Nancy Puksta.
Visitation will be Thursday April 7, 2016 from 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. at the Yaksich-Long Funeral Home in Raton.
Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will be Friday, April 8, 2016 at 9:00 A.M. at St. Patricks-St. Joseph’s Catholic Church recited by Deacon Tom Alderette. Mass of the Resurrection will follow at 9:30 A.M. with Father John Trambley as the celebrant.
Rite of Christian burial will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Raton.
A luncheon will be served at the church hall following the burial.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to your charity of choice in memory of Annie.
