Alfred Leon Hobbs age 76 passed away November 4, 2015 in Raton, New Mexico. He was born January 18, 1939 the son of Clayton and Opal West Hobbs. He was a resident of Raton, a member of the Church of Christ and a U.S. Army Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Margaret Hobbs, ex-wife Marcella K. Hobbs and his brother Alan Hobbs.
He is survived by his sons Clay Hobbs and Angela of Laramie, WY, Bret Hobbs and Connie of Lubbock, TX, step-son Michael Tomsco of Raton, NM, brother Gene Hobbs of Gainesville, TX, grandchildren Hagen and Jetson Hobbs of Lubbock, TX, and Connor Hobbs of Laramie, WY.
A Memorial Service will take place Monday November 9th at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Christ in Raton with Mark and Cameron Burk officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Raton Church of Christ. Funeral arrangements for Alfred Leon Hobbs are under the direction of the Alderette-Pomeroy Funeral Home of Raton.
