Mary Jo Pettis, age 81, died Wednesday, October 21, 2015 in Clayton, New Mexico.
Cremation has taken place and no services are scheduled at this time.
Mary Jo Pettis was born on January 25, 1934 to George M. Vagher, Sr. and Nelle Thelma (Wimmer) Vagher. She married Charles Pettis on August 20, 1977 in Clayton, New Mexico and he preceded her in death on June 28, 1996. Mary Jo has lived in Clayton since 1977 and she worked for several years doing home health care for numerous people in and around Clayton. In addition to her husband and parents, Mary Jo was preceded in death by a daughter; Debbie Sopr and a son; Ronnie Gore.

2 DAUGHTERS: Mary Steckler of Dunn Center, North Dakota and Janice Gore of Cheyenne, Wyoming.
1 SON: Rick McKedy of Clayton, New Mexico.
7 GRANDCHILDREN: Kari, Amanda, Tyrel, Alan, Charles, Christopher and Michael.
1 BROTHER: George Martin “Sunny” Vagher
