Raton Lady Tigers took to the court hosting the Mora Rangerettes for a non conference volleyball match in Tiger Gym on Tuesday afternoon September 15, 2026.
The Jv teams were pretty well matched as Mora took the early lead in game one but the Lady Tigers stayed close and tied the game at 11, 13 and held it close with more ties at 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 before Mora managed to pull ahead just enough for the win. In game two Mora took the lead after a tie game at 10. Raton was down by seven later in the game but battled back for a three point loss at 25-22.
The Varsity girls swapped the lead early on in game one but Mora took the lead after Katie game at six. They stretched out the lead pulled out in front by 10 for the 25-15 win. Game two, wow what a change as Raton took the lead and tied the game at 10 to 14 and then again from 20 to 22. Mora then took the lead won by three 25-22. Game there went much like game one with Mora taking the lead after a tie game at four. They slowly stretched it out and toppled Raton 25-13 at the final point.
