The Lady Tigers hosted the Lady Wildcats from Questa Monday afternoon in Tiger Gym for a non conference match and Questa took home the wins in three for the varsity match.
Game one of the JV game was tied at three with Questa making the next point and not looking back as they stretched it out for a 25-12 win. In game two it much of the same with a tie at two and three before Questa simply walked away with the game. for a 25-13.
The varsity games followed much the same path with the exception of game three. Game one saw a tie at six but Questa took off and pulled away for a 25-17 win. As game two got underway Raton pulled ahead but tied at 4 and again at 9 and 10 before Questa got the upper hand and pulled away for a 25-19 win. Game three was the exciting game as Raton took an early lead then a tie at four. Questa pulled out in front and Raton tied the game at nine, 10, 12 and 13. Questa then took the lead and allowed Raton to pull back within three but managed to finish it off with a seven point win 15-18.
