Alice Marie (Santistevan) Lucero, age 67, passed away on, July 22, 2026 after courageous battle with Breast Cancer.
She was born on January 3, 1969 to Alice (Duran) Santistevan and Arthur Joe Santistevan .
She was a 1987 graduate of Trinidad High School.
Alice worked with husband Michael at the Federal Center in the oil and gas industry. In 1995 , she was employed by the Colorado Supreme Court, Attorney Regulations, until her retirement in 2025.
In 2025, she received a Certificate of Recognition for her 30 years of service and also from the Colorado Courts
Alice was united in marriage to Michael Ray Lucero on April 24, 1993, A union blessed for 33 years.
Together with her husband, hey were members of the Moose Lodge and Postmasters and Managers of America, for many years.
Preceding her in death are her Mother , Alice (Duran) Santistevan, Father, Arthur Joe Santistevan, Siblings , David J. Santistevan Sr., Robert “Bobby” Santistevan, Beverley Santistevan I, Diann Santistevan, Beverley Marie (Santistevan) Martinez, and Arthur “Chucko” Santistevan.
Alice is survived by her Husband, Michael Ray Lucero, two Sons, Brandon Lucero, and Santana (Valerie) Lucero, Grandchildren Layla Lucero and Josiah Lucero Grandmother Irene Lucero, siblings Genevieve (Tim) James , Richard Santistevan , Bernard Santistevan, Sam (Phil) Martin, Cleo Santistevan, Freida Santistevan and their families .
Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and many dear friends also survive.
Alice was a gentle kind soul on this earth and the many lives she touched will always remember her strong will , laughter, and joy forever in their hearts. She was everyone’s Betty Boop.
SHE LOVED AND IN RETURN WAS LOVED BY ALL WHO WERE BLESSED ENOUGH TO KNOW HER .

Visitation on Wednesday August 12, 2026 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Olinger Funeral and Cemetery located at 10201 Grant Street Thornton, Colorado 80229.Funeral Service will be on Thursday August 13, 2026 starting at 10 a.m. at the Olinger Funeral and Cemetery located at 10201 Grant Street Thornton, Colorado.
Pallbearers are, Michael Lucero, Brandon Lucero, Santana Lucero, Richard Santistevan, John Santistevan, and Manuel Pedraza.
