In loving memory of our beloved Kenneth Segura (Kenny Curls) passed away unexpectedly in the arms of his Lord early Tuesday, March 25th, 2025, in Albuquerque NM.
Kenny was born to Adrian Segura and Cherie Trujillo in Las Vegas, NV., on June 6, 1990. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and compassion. He fought extremely hard for a better life.
He is preceded in death by his grandpa Arthur (Gida) Segura, cousin Mark Valdez, grandfather and grandmother Arthur Segura Sr. and Lena Segura, Cousin Crucita Trujillo, Felix and Margaret Martinez and Ben and Margaret Trujillo.
He has survived by his mother Cherie Trujillo, father Adrian Segura and wife Arlene of Las Vegas NV, Grandma June Segura and partner Cletis Wines and Basil and Sandra Trujillo, his children whom he loved dearly Isaac and Isaiah Segura of Rio Rancho Daisy Mitchell of Pueblo CO., Malachi of Raton, NM., Sister Vanessa Trujillo of Pueblo CO., Haili Romero Raton, Adriana Segura of Las Vegas NM., Elijah and wife Tracy of Utah, Brandon and wife Cheyenne Segura of Raton and several nieces nephews including Jacob Madrid from Pueblo CO, Arabella Hernandez of Pueblo and Islaya, Gabe and Mariss Trujillo of Denver CO., Christian Deavon of Pueblo CO., Milo and Evie Segura of Utah, Lakin Segura of Raton, Carissa and Matthew of Raton, uncles and aunts; Basil Trujillo and wife Geneva, Gabe Trujillo and Shannon and Jeremy Trujillo.
Visitation and viewing of Kenneth will be held at the Alderette Pomeroy Funeral Home from 1:00 to 3:00 on Tuesday, April 8th. Recitation of the most Holy Rosary will be at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph/ St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. The mass of Christian burial will be at 11:30, with Father Bill Woytavich as the celebrant. Interment will follow in the Mount Calvary cemetery.
Kenny was known for his generous heart and ability to light up a heart and laughter. He will be remembered for his amazing sense of humor and unwavering care for others. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. The family thanks everyone for their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. A luncheon will be served at the VFW for all to attend.
