Connie “Nana” Blan, age 63, died Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at her home in Clayton, New Mexico.
Memorial services will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at the Clayton Assembly of God Church with Pastor Randall Floyd, officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.
Connie “Nana” Blan was born on January 27, 1962, in Clayton, New Mexico to Eloy Blan, Sr. and Mary Armijo. Connie was loving, compassionate, God fearing and strong. She listened and gave Godly advice to anyone needing to be heard. Connie was always smiling and joking no matter the situation. She was an active member of the Clayton Assembly of God Church. Connie always went above and beyond for anyone, just to see them smile. Her door was always open to anyone needing help or a hot meal. Connie was the neighborhood mom and nana. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Armijo, her brother, Alfonso Cruz, her stepmother, Rosalie Blan on April 26, 2006, and by her sister, Rosemary Blan on January 10, 2016.

DAUGHTER: Jennifer Grisham and husband Eric of Sierra Vista, Arizona.
HER BONUS DAUGHTER: Teena Martinez and husband Eddie of Clayton, New Mexico.
3 SONS: Timothy Carwile, Derek Blan and Matthew Blan all of Clayton, New Mexico.
FATHER: Eloy Blan Sr. of Clayton, New Mexico.
GRANDCHILDREN: Tim, Bonnie, Taylor, David, Lillian, Keith, Luke, Natalie, Oliver, Maddie, Madison, Lyndi, Arya, Everly and Jaxon.
GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Eliana and Everly.
SISTER: Theresa Blan of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
3 BROTHERS: Eloy Blan, Jr. and Jesse Cruz both of Clayton, New Mexico and Domingo Padilla of Colorado.
