George W. Casias, 76; passed away on March 6, 2025.

Born on February 4, 1949, in Philmont, NM.

George served a combined 40+ years in the Army and National Guard as a Mechanic Technician. He retired at the rank of Master Sergeant.

George is preceded in death by his wife, Theresa Jane Casias; Parents, John and Lucy Casias; Son, Anthony P. Martinez “Jones”; Brother, Raymond Casias; Sisters, Rosie Casias and Louisa Maestas.

Survived by his children, Sherri Casias, Damian Casias; Grandchildren, Chantel Montoya (Derick Gonzales), Makayla Montoya (Joseph Perez), Joaquin Martinez and Derrick Casias (Amanda Martinez); Great Grandchildren, Jordan, Andralei, Aniyah, Adalie, Derrick Jr., Isaac; Sisters, Esther Arguello (Carlos Arguello) and Martha Chavez (the late Elmer Chavez); Partner of fifteen years DiAnn Carpenter.

Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will be held at the Sister Hildegarde Parish Hall in Cimarron, NM at 10:00 a.m. recited by Elmer Vigil on Friday, March 21, 2025, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. with Father Trieu as the Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Cimarron;
