In Loving Memory of Gloria Montaño

Gloria Montaño, 69, of Littleton, Colorado, went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, February 19, 2025. She was born on July 31, 1955, in the San Luis Valley to Reuben and Esmeralda Montaño. Gloria graduated from Trinidad High School in 1974 and later earned a degree in computer science from Trinidad State Junior College.
Throughout her career, Gloria worked at CH2M Hill engineering company before transitioning to Allstate Insurance, where she held various roles in data entry and other departments. She later worked as a Walmart associate until her retirement in 2016. In her retirement, she dedicated much of her time to reading her Bible, attending church, and caring for those around her. Loving and serving others was her greatest passion.
 Gloria had a generous and nurturing spirit, always willing to help anyone in need. Whether offering her time, wisdom, or even the last of what she had, she gave selflessly. She played a significant role in raising and guiding many family members, offering love, encouragement, and unwavering support. Known for her exceptional baking and cooking, she ensured no one ever left her home hungry. She also found joy in crocheting, creating cherished handmade gifts that will be treasured for generations.
 She is survived by her sons, Charles (Anna) Velazquez, Reuben (Morina) Montaño, and their families. She is also survived by her brothers Steven (Diane), Bob (Patricia), Dennis (Gerri), Ron (Janet), Ray (Zelda), and Anthony, as well as her sisters Cecilia, Elaine, Lou Ann (Donald) Abeyta, Rose (Tino) Gutierrez, Louise (Jose) Martinez, numerous nieces and nephews all of who she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Reuben and Esmeralda, and her brothers, Francis and Andy.
 A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 3190 S Grant St, Englewood, CO 80110.
