In Loving Memory of David Allen Marquez

David Allen Marquez, age 72, died on Sunday, February 4, 2025, at The Ladera Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The family will have a meal at noon on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at the First Baptist Church in Clayton and a Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Hilario Perez, officiating.

David Allen Marquez was born on June 4, 1952, in Clayton, New Mexico to Pete Marquez and Frances (Smythe) Marquez. David was a triplet, he attended school in Des Moines, New Mexico for 12 years. He was a longtime rancher of Des Moines, CRI Cattle Feeders in Boise City, Oklahoma, and was a Bull Rider, and Circuit Rider in Oklahoma City. David was a great father, he loved kids. A great husband, very loving, and a friend to so many different people. A good, good dancer to country music. David was preceded in death by his dad Pete, his mom Frances, his uncle Frank, his sisters, Elsie, Dorothy, Cora, Mae, and Fran, and his other two triplets at birth.

SURVIVORS:

His Children and siblings: Tracie Ann, David, Janet, Fran-Fran, Phillip, Dillon, David, and Lee Marquez. His 24 yearlong companion, Tessy Marquez, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. 1 brother, Pete Marquez of Albuquerque, and 2 sisters, Bea Hall and Ruth Williams of Oklahoma City.
