Loretta Medina passed away peacefully on 2/8/25 surrounded by her family after
her fight had finally come to an end. During this whole time, Loretta was the
glue to her family, her husband Allen’s rock, and her children’s motivation.
However, to her grandchildren she was everything. Loretta was born to Louis
and Selena Ossola on 12/11/1956. She was one of 11 yes I said 11 children.
She loved her family so much and worried about everyone over her own needs
every day.
Loretta’s life can be summed up easily by being a fighter. She had a strong
compassion that can’t and will never be matched. She loved hard and had the
biggest heart of anyone.
Loretta was born in the small town of Trinidad Colorado. As a child, she and her
brothers and sisters went around terrorizing Starkville and later Trinidad. She
graduated from Trinidad High School which is where she met the love of her life
Allen. She spent the rest of her life being a great wife, mother, and eventually a
grandmother. She loved all of these tasks and challenges but those grandkids
though. They had a special heart. It was her new reason to stay alive. Loretta
would do anything to make sure her grandkids were happy. Even breaking
parental rules that were handed down from her house.
Loretta is survived by Allen Medina (husband) Jarrod and Wesley Medina
(sons) grandchildren Shelby, Conner, Jayla, Amaya, and Wesley. Brothers Louie,
Bobby, and Michael. Sisters Shirley, Sally, Lucy, and Linda. Along with numerous
nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
Loretta will be met at the gates of heaven by her parents, inlaws, niece
Deeandra, and three sisters Francis, Iren,e and Janet along with numerous
friends and family lost along the way.
Even though Loretta’s time on earth is done her job is not over. She wants us all
to live and will continue to live in all of our hearts. Her time spent on earth
wasn’t wasted and will continue to go on in the hearts of all that she touched.
She will be waiting for us when our time is up but she’s in no rush.

In Loving Memory of Loretta Medina
