Alfred Joseph Aragon III, 57 years young, passed away on the 31st of January, 2025 at 10:04 am. He was born on June 8, 1968,in Raton, NM to Alfredo Aragon and Juliana Sanchez. He was preceded in death by his father Alfredo Aragon.
He is survived by his mother, Juliana Sanchez of Raton, NM, and sisters Sharon (Anthony) Cardenas, Susan (Louie) Saenz, Elizabeth Aragon (Debra Carney), and Alfreida (Edwin) Velez.
Alfred was happiest when he could work outdoors. He was always busy tackling projects with enthusiasm, including upgrading his home and yard. He took pride in planting his flower garden and tending to his houseplants. He also enjoyed helping our mom and others with their yard work whenever he could. His friendly demeanor was well known. He would greet others with his big smile and a warm “hello”. Alfred was a loyal son and brother, always keeping in touch with his family. He was our father’s constant companion and fishing buddy. He cherished the time spent with our mother, especially enjoying trips to Walmart. Alfred will be remembered for his friendly spirit, his smile, and his unwavering loyalty to those he loved.
At 11:00 am on Friday, February 14, 2025 mass will be held at St. Patrick’s St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvery Cemetery. At 1:00 pm a celebration of life and luncheon will be held at the Parish Hall for all family members and friends.
