Tuesday evening February 4, 2025, the 4-14 Lady Tigers hosted the 2-14 Santa Fe Prep Lady Griffins for a single makeup game. The game was originally scheduled in January and was rescheduled for today.
The Lady Tigers fell behind but came back and tied the game at five then went on to move ahead. The Ladies would double digit the first and second quarters of the game something they hadn’t done in quite a while. They held Santa Fe Prep to only 10 points in the first half of play as the Lady Tigers played good defense.
Second half action saw more of the same as the Raton defense held on and kept Santa Fe Prep to only 11 points in the second half. The free throw line was not the most charitable during the game as both teams hit less than 50% from the line. As the final buzzer sounded Raton marked the win column for the fifth time this season with a 48-21 win.
