Glenn Thomas Davis I
Trinidad, CO. – Glenn Thomas Davis I, 66, passed away unexpectedly on January 22, 2025, at
Memorial Central in Colorado Springs, CO. He was born on May 1, 1958, in Port Heuneme, CA
to Fred F. Davis and Dorothy Jean (Feland) Davis.
Glenn Graduated from Hoehne High School, Class of 1976. In 2000, he received his Associates
of Arts Degree in 1993 from Trinidad State Junior College and then attended Regis University in
Denver to continue his education in Business. In 2000 he earned his Certificate of Completion in
Foursquare Distinctives and his District Ministerial License. In 2002 he earned a certificate from
the Billy Graham School of Evangelism. Following High School, he travelled with Lee Gerrard
setting up revival tents all over the US and other parts of the world. In 1977 he began his
preaching career at Faith Temple as the Associate Pastor before becoming the Head Pastor.
Later he Pastored at Cornerstone Four Square and most recently the Trinidad Community
Church. During his life, he was an active member of the Trinidad Community, working with the
Trinidad Ministerial Alliance, AADA, AYSO, Grace Christian Center, Trinidad Community
Chorale, Trinidad Planning & Zoning and numerous other organizations and groups. While
raising his family, he worked many jobs including the Trinidad Fire Department, Colorado State
Patrol and US Postal Service. He also ran Davis Service Company, On the Level Inspections
and Campbell Lewis Cotter Funeral Home for a while. Most recently, he worked side by side
with his Life Partner, Francesca Villani, serving scoops, smiles and wisdom at Tutti Scoops,
where he was affectionately known as Mr. Ice Cream. He was well known for his ability to be a
great listener and give guidance where needed. He was known for being level headed, non
judgemental, sympathetic and comforting to anyone in need.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters Mary Grubaugh (CA) and Knowla
Davis (CA), his brothers Larry & Garry Grubaugh (CA), and his daughter Sarah Marie Davis
(OK). Surviving, in addition to his Life Partner, Francesca Villani (Trinidad), are his son Glenn
Thomas (Tom) Davis II (Trinidad), his daughters Rebekah Ann Davis (OK), Deborah Lee Griffis
and her husband Shane Griffis (Trinidad), and Nicolina Villani and her wife Sonya Villani
(Trinidad); four grandchildren, Brayden and Brynae Griffis (Trinidad), Allen Davis (OK) and
Michael Villani (Trinidad); three brothers, Bruce Grubaugh (OR), Kenny Grubaugh (TX) and
James Davis (TX) ; one sister Ann Marie Pentecost (OR); and numerous nephews and nieces.
A viewing will be held at Comi Funeral Home in Trinidad on Monday, February 3, 2025, from 3 to
6 PM. His Celebration of Life will be held at Trinidad Community Church, 216 Broom St. in
Trinidad on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at 11 AM with a Graveside service following at Trinidad
Masonic Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in his name to the Trinidad
Community Church, Wycliffe Bible Translators www.wycliffe.org or Heifer International
www.heifer.org

James Davis
