In Loving Memory of Gilbert Jose Rael

Gilbert Jose Rael, age 42, died on Monday, January 6, 2025, in Lone Tree, Colorado.

Rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM on Friday, January 17, 2025, and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton. Burial will follow in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.

Gilbert Jose Rael was born on November 10, 1982, in Clayton, New Mexico to Rudy Ralph Rael and Carmen Irene (Lopez) Rael. A lifelong resident of Clayton, New Mexico, growing up he liked to tinker with everything. Gilbert loved his kids and all of his family and enjoyed spending time with all of them. He was a big Raiders fan and Pittsburgh Pirates fan. Gilbert was preceded in death by his father Rudy Ralph Rael on April 22, 2009, a sister, LaNora Rose Rael on December 30, 1987, and by several aunts and uncles.

WIFE: Ashley Chavez of Clayton, New Mexico.

2 CHILDREN: Freddie Rael & Rudy Rael of Clayton, New Mexico.

HIS MOTHER: Carmen Rael of Clayton, New Mexico.

1 SISTER: Lola Rael of Clayton, New Mexico.

3 BROTHERS: Jospeh Coats and his wife Linda of Denver, Colorado and Rudy Rael and Teofilo Rael and his wife Sandra all of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

NIECES & NEPHEWS: Simon Coats & family, Lena Daughtry & family, Marcos Rael, Aaron Coats, Joy Coats, Nathaniel Rael, Jordan Rael, Lanora “Bug” Rael, Leonardo Rael, Leonaul Rael, Isaiah Chavez, Aaliyah Chavez and Michael Chavez, III.

And several aunts, uncles and cousins.
