In Loving Memory of Deborah Lee Vialpando

Deborah Lee Vialpando, age 61, lived in Greeley, CO, and grew up in Weston, CO. Debbie passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness and went to be with the Lord on December 31st, 2024. As a teenager, she worked at the shopping bag and as a babysitter. She and her cousin Lori loved getting into mischief of every kind, especially when riding the family rogue horse Coco, where she got bucked off many times but would always get back on for more fun. This is how Deb lived her life, always getting back up after getting knocked down. She was such a strong and resilient woman. She had her first born daughter age 17 and was not able to finish school but she was able to obtain her GED because she believed in the importance of education. Later on, she brought a second daughter into the world. Debbie then met Victor, who she was married to for 20 years and they had another three beautiful children. She always had a need and want to help/nurture people so she embarked on a path to become a CNA with pride and loved her job. She was able to work as a CNA until she couldn’t anymore due to her health. Most importantly she was a homemaker for many years and her kids were always her first priority. She was very protective over her six siblings that she helped care for, as she was the second oldest. Debbie loved to drive fast, we think the only reason she was always late was so she could drive fast. She loved to listen to music and go dancing. She loved and adored her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Those who truly knew her knew she had a heart of gold and would help however she could. She loved to cook and that was one of the things she missed dearly when she became ill. She was such a fighter and fought her illness for so long because she did not want to leave the people she loved. She is going to eternally be missed by those she left behind. Debbie is preceded in death by her son Matthew Arnold, mother Lucy Vialpando, father Eligio Vialpando, and brother Patrick Vialpando. Left to cherish her memory is Victor Arnold, daughters Amanda Garcia, Crystle (Rene) Garcia, Angel (Derek) Arnold, son Adam (Mariah) Arnold, 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, brother Kenneth (Angela) Vialpando, Robert Vialpando, Carl (Naomi) Vialpando, Gary (Sarita) Vialpando, sister Francine (Chris) Harvey, numerous cousins, amazing friends, and others.
