Evangeline Louise Esquivel

Evangeline “Louise” Esquivel, age 75, peacefully took her last breath on October 6, 2024, with her family by her side. Louise was born May 19, 194,9 to the late Leopoldo Esquivel and Juanita “Jennie”; Aurora Esquivel. She is preceded in death by both her parents Leopoldo and Juanita Esquivel; her brother Leo Esquivel; Sister-in-Law Debby Esquivel; son James T. Trujillo Jr.; granddaughter Nizshone Trujillo; niece Jennifer Esquivel; and Great-nephew Joshua Esquivel.
Louise was such a free and loving soul; she found peace in anything of nature and music of all sorts. She was full of life, love and laughter. Louise was always with a smile on her face and her love was something fierce. Her life revolved around her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had a special name for all of her loved ones, and all the special people she met. She welcomed everyone in her life and treated everyone like family. She was an angel with a heart of gold.
She is survived by her aunt Mary Jiron and family, her brother Nash Esquivel; her children’s father James T. Trujillo Sr., sons Andrew Trujillo (Marsha Trujillo); Vincent Trujillo; daughter-in-law Carol Trujillo (Joseph Wright Sr.); Granddaughters Regina Klapperich (E.J. Klapperich); Andrea Trujillo (Douglas Trantham); Vanessa Ocasio; Jamie Romero (Eric Romero); Jimmie Trujillo; Abelina Trujillo; Charity Trujillo (Logan Chapman); Drewlyn Trujillo; Grandson Joseph Wright Jr. (Jayln Benton); Niece Melissa Sisneros (Pat Sisneros) Nephew Nash Esquivel Jr.; Felix Esquivel; Brian Smith; Great- Nieces Shantell Jacobo; Ariana Armijo-Sisneros; Ashley Sisneros; Ava Sisneros; Charity Encinias; Ruby Sanchez, Great-Nephews Anthony Esquivel; Jayden Romero; Robert Esquivel; Great-granddaughter Hali Marquez; Eleanora Ocasio; Cattaleya Pringle; Great-grandsons Benjamin Torrez; Nicolino Ocasio; Calvin Klapperich; Leo Klapperich; Oliver Romero; close cousins, many extended loved ones and friends.
She will be missed deeply by everyone who knew her. She will always have a special place in our hearts,, until we meet again “one sweet day”.

Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will be on December 18, 2024, at 11:00 am recited by the Legion of Mary followed by the Mass of the Resurrection at 11:30 am with Father Bill Woytavich as the Celebrant. Interment will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
