Bethany Anne Darden Smith, daughter of Eric and Leslie Smith

What do you think you want to be when you grow up?

When I grow up I want to be a florist in a flower shop where I can make floral arrangements for parties, weddings and other special events.

What is your favorite color?

My favorite colors are red, blue, and purple.

What is your favorite meal and who cooks it for you?

My favorite meal is turkey and mashed potatoes and gravy. My mom and dad cook it and prepare it for me.

What is your favorite song and why?

My favorite song is Toy Soldier by Britney Spears. I like this song because it has a great bet and it’s fun to dance to.

What are your Hobbies?

Swimming at the Raton Aquatic Center, lifting weights and exercising at the gym, and walking my dog at the park.

What do you like best about RHS?

I like my classes, learning, my teachers and staff supporting me and giving me words of encouragement during the day. I also like talking with other students at school and making new friends.

What are you most proud of accomplishing in high school?

I am most proud of accomplishing my classes especially horticulture, culinary and art

What did you learn in high school that you didn’t expect to learn?

I learned how to grow and plant food and how to cook and prepare meals for myself.

What do you think you will be doing in 10 years?

I will be running and managing my own flower shop

Do you have any advice for younger students?

Never stop dreaming and always keep believing that dreams really do come true.
