Clyde Lynell Couchman passed away in Calexico, CA on August 29, 2024, at the age of 89.
Clyde was born on November 28, 1934 in Cripple Creek, CO. He spent his formative years in Kim, CO and graduated from Kim High School. Following graduation he served in the US Marine Corp. Following his discharge he received a Bachelor’s Degree from Cal State Long Beach in California. Upon graduating he had a long career with the US government, most notably working with the Center for Disease Control to eradicate various diseases across the US. In the latter part of his life he was a real estate investor, buying, selling and renting homes in Washington DC, Philadelphia PA, Fairfield IA, and Trinidad, CO. He is survived by his son, Kevin Cormack, two nieces and a nephew.
Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Thursday, Oct 24 2024 at Comi Chapel, internment to follow at Kim Cemetery.
