Phillip Lamar Edge Jr., 49, of Weston, Colorado passed away on Saturday, September 14th, 2024.
Phillip was born February 20th, 1975, in Montgomery, Alabama the son of Phillip Edge Sr. and Eunice (Carol) Webb Edge.
Phillip graduated from Woodham High School in 1993 in Pensacola, Florida. Phillip went to have a successful career as a Produce Manager at Publix Supermarkets, in many different locations throughout Northwest Florida, and South Alabama. Phillip retired at a young age of 45, to pursue his vision of being a landowner in the mountains. Upon fulfilling his dreams, he spent his last years charming the community as a chef at Legends Country Store in Valdez, Colorado.
Phillip was a caring soul, with an extremely large heart. He frequently cared how others were doing, and often went out of his way to help those in need. Phillip was a wonderful trombone player, a wonderful friend, and above anything else, an avid Alabama Crimson Tide football fan.
remaining to cherish Phillips memory are his mother Eunice (Carol) Webb Edge, father Phillip Lamar Edge Sr., Stepmother Shelly Renee Edge, Girlfriend and High School sweetheart Christy Sammarco, sister Amber McKenzie Edge, and brother Robert James Edge; Uncles Robert Benjamin Webb Jr., William Monroe Beck Sr., and Charlie Oren Edge, Aunts Rory Alicia Edge, Bonnie Webb Beck, Sharon Townsend Webb, and Evelyn Edge Ivy. As well as several cousins.
Preceding Phillip in death are his grandparents Bonnie Pouncy Webb, Robert Benjamin Webb Sr., James Oren Edge, Laverne Ellen Edge, Uncle David Earle Edge, and Aunt Lanell Edge Williams.
Viewing and visitation will be held Monday, September 23rd, 2024, at 12pm – 5pm at Comi Chapel. Memorial services will be held September 24th, 2024, at 11:00 am at Comi Chapel.
