Brian Archuleta

Brian Joseph Archuleta was born on December 28th, 1983 in Texas. He passed away unexpectedly on August 11th, 2024 in Albuquerque, NM.
Brian was raised in Springer, NM where he played football in high school for the Springer Red Devils. Growing up Brian was a very social and outgoing kid. He had many friends he gained throughout the years. Cars was one of Brian’s passions, he always customized and detailed his cars just the way he wanted them, tinted windows, and a top notch stereo system were always a must for Brian. He would cruise through town windows down and system up bassing loud.
Brian also loved to draw, and he was very talented at it, he had many tattoos that he done on himself, beautiful artwork. He took pride in his drawings, and he loved sharing them.
Brian was very passionate about family and the well-being of his family; he was always trying to help wherever he could.
He was preceded in death by his mother Joyce Y. Garcia, father Eddie Montoya, maternal grandfather Seferino E. Garcia, paternal grandfather Ed Montoya, paternal great grandfather Edward Montoya, maternal uncles Christopher and Bruce Garcia.
Survived by sisters Kayla Montoya of Albuquerque NM, Leandro Garcia and wife Monica Garcia of Cimarron, New Mexico, brothers Shane Montoya wife Savina of Raton, New Mexico, Paul Gurule and wife Hayley Gonzales, of Cimarron, New Mexico, Adonis Montoya wife Danielle of Las Cruces, New Mexico, nieces Ariella Rayanna (RayRay) Montoya-Garcia, nephews Ezequiel and Emilio Gurule, Isaac Gallegos, Angel Montoya, Adrian Sanchez, and Andre Montoya.
Also, surviving maternal grandmother Ignacita R. Garcia of California, paternal grandmother Juanita Montoya of Springer, New Mexico, uncles Tony Montoya, Springer, New Mexico, Shawn Montoya and wife Ashley of Springer, New Mexico, aunt Cindy and uncle Vincent Herrera of Texas, among numerous cousins friends and people he’s come across during his life.
