Bernice Rogers

Bernice “Granny” Rogers, age 88, died at home in Clayton, New Mexico.
Memorial services will be held at a later date at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Clayton, New Mexico with Brian Cromis officiating.
Bernice was born on August 12, 1936, in Scottsbluff Nebraska to Orlando Prickett and Sara (Bullock) Prickett. Bernice married Maurice V Rogers on June 12,1955 in Scottsbluff Nebraska. Bernice was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses June 1956. Bernice worked various jobs over the years and after retiring from Hobby Lobby in Colorado Springs she and Maurice moved to Kenton, Oklahoma to enjoy small ranch living until Maurice’s health issues required them to move to Clayton in 2009. Bernice lived in Nebraska, Wyoming, Colorado, and Oklahoma, with her final resting place in Clayton, New Mexico.
She is proceeded in death by her husband Maurice Rogers on January 21, 2014, her parents Orlando & Sara Prickett, 2 sons; David Rogers and Kenneth Rogers, 2 brothers; Chet Prickett and Dale Prickett.

5 GRANDCHILDREN: Jeffrey Clark and his wife Amy of Bellingham, Washington; Trevor Clark and his wife Brittany of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Rachel Laudick and her husband Lucas of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Willow Roger of Lakewood, Colorado; and Sara Rogers of Clayton, New Mexico.
