Mary Viola Herrera of Raton, New Mexico was born June 18th, 1947 and left us on July 28th 2024, in Greenville Tx.
Viola is preceded in death by her husband, Adelio “Dale” Herrera and son Ed Herrera.
She is survived by sister-in-law Mercy Silva, daughter Donna Herrera, grandchild Rose Thompson, grandson James Thompson as well as two great granchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Viola leaves all those who knew her with beautiful memories and fond anecdotes to tell. She graced all who knew her with her kind nature, beloved sense of humor, and a great unending love.
Her place in the community was a long-standing one with her work and passion for what she did as a book keeper.
Her cremation has taken place and no services are scheduled to take place at this time.
