Nora Arrazola passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 25th, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born on January 29, 1937, in Tobe, CO, to Ramon Gurule and Mary Salas Gurule.
Nora is survived by her children Arlene (Gil) Lopez, Rita (Rob) Carpenter, Dan Arrazola, Cathy (Rick) Cimino, Gerri (Anthony) Gardunio, Berni Arrazola, and Robert (Kristine) Arrazola.
She is also survived by sister Lucille Espinoza, and brothers Fred (Reyna) Gurule, and Larry (Vicki) Gurule. Nora was a proud grandmother to Aaron Lopez, Gilbert (Crystal) Lopez, Nathaniel Carpenter, Raelynn (Chris) Garcia, Zachary (Magen) Arrazola, Seth (Shantel) Arrazola, Trinton (Katelynn) Arrazola, Raine Cimino, Kaetlyn (Zane) Norris, Kyle Gardunio, William James Arrazola- Stanton, Bethany (Christian) Arrazola-Stanton, Rashelle Arrazola, and Megan Arrazola.
She was also blessed with 12 great-grandchildren, Holland Rudolph, Emily Lopez, Isaiah, Trystan and Jake Garcia, Isaac and Sadie Arrazola, Darian and Zayden Arrazola, Taytum Arrazola, Micah Arrazola-Snyder and Caylee Turner. Nora is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Nora was predeceased by her daughter Shirley Arrazola, parents Mary and Ramon Gurule, brothers Ben, Eloy, Zeke, Frank and Jimmy Gurule, as well as her former husband, Salvador Arrazola.
Her life will be celebrated with a visitation on Wednesday July 31st from 3 to 6 PM at Comi Funeral Home Chapel. Rosary will be Thursday August 1st at 12:30 PM at Holy Trinity Church, followed by the funeral mass at 1:00 PM. Burial will take place at Trinidad Catholic Cemetery immediately following the mass.
The family has entrusted Comi Funeral Home to provide these services.
