In Loving Memory of Jesse J Hill

Jesse J Hill passed away Sunday, June 23, 2024, in Westminster, CO surrounded by family.
Jesse was raised in Eastlake, CO, and often visited the 3JM Ranch in Gardner, CO. Jesse
moved to Walsenburg in 1985 to work at J. M. Tire, Inc. before he assumed ownership of the
business with his brother Joe Hill. During his tenure in Walsenburg, Jesse started numerous
businesses including Jesse’s Auto and Truck Sales and RJ Water Services, LLC.
Jesse had a love of racing that began with BMX bikes in middle school. In high school, his
interest in rebuilding cars from the ground up was sparked, and he moved into drag racing with
his 1970 Mack 1. He, along with his twin brother Joe, decided to move on to stock car racing
with the 2Fast4U Racing team at Beacon Hill Speedway. They started in 1992 driving in the
street stock class. Jesse raced in multiple classes throughout the years including mini stock,
street stock, late model and Pro Truck. His favorite car being the #3 late model.
Jesse will be remembered for his work ethic and ability to bring people together as a team.
Jesse is preceded in death by his mother Helen Hill, his second family that included Jack and
Nadine McNabb and their sons Johnny and Jimmy.
Survived by his immediate family Roxana Hill, Jeremiah Hill and Melissa (Cody) Daniels, father
Jacob Hill, siblings Joe (Angie) Hill, Jacob (Annette) Hill, Jeffery Hill, John Hill, Jennifer (Jimmy)
Johnson, nieces and nephews, and close friend Jerry Anderson.
A Celebration of Life held at 1451 W. 144th Ave. Westminster, CO on July 21st at Noon. A
memorial will also take place at the Walsenburg Community Center on July 28, 2024, at 1 PM.
The family asks that those attending drive their classic cars in memory of Jesse.
