With great sadness, we announce the passing of Ethan Abrahm Begano on July 8, 2024. He was born to James F. Begano Jr. and Kimberly M. Begano on June 18, 2000. He proudly joined the United States Marine Corps the summer before his high school senior year began, completing 1 year of service before he graduated from Trinidad High School. He was currently serving as an active duty Marine in the position of Signal Intelligence Electronic Warfare Instructor and Course Curriculum Chief at Camp LeJeune stationed in North Carolina. His most recent award was the Superior Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal on July 1, 2024. Ethan was a very special young man. He loved helping people, especially his friends and family. He could not stand injustices on any level. He learned extremely easily (if he wanted to learn the subject matter) and taught himself many talents. He loved to read and reading 1 to 2 books a week was common for him to accomplish. He was an artist (in many medias), played the guitar and banjo, a welder, a blacksmith forging knives, tools, jewelry, and metal artwork. He loved motorcycles, riding, rebuilding, and maintaining them. He was quite sensitive and caring and extremely concerned about accomplishing tasks assigned to him. His bright beautiful smile, deep thunderous laugh, and handsome face will be forever missed. Waiting in heaven to welcome him will be his brothers, Jason Wayne Begano and Gino Willie Begano, and grandparents Bettyrose Begano and James Begano Sr. His family in life are father James Begano Jr., mother Kimberly M. Begano (Sandoval), sisters Cecily L. Begano and Aimee L. Prigmore (Nick), brothers Jake J. Begano (Kristen) and Brian C. Begano (Bobbie), grandparents Mike and Vanessa Sandoval with uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, U.S. Marine Corps brothers and sisters and an enormous amount of dear friends. We have entrusted The Comi Funeral Home to care for our son during this time of overwhelming grief. The family may be contacted at 901 Tascosa St. Trinidad, Colorado 81082
