Dr. Martin Trujillo

Dr. Martin Trujillo passed away on June 21, 2024. Martin was born in Los Alamos, New Mexico on March 6, 1949. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose A. Trujillo and Marta Trujillo. He is survived by his brothers: Jaime, Noel, and Joel; nephew and nieces Alan Trujillo and Alyssa Romero, Annique Wiseman and Aria Gollner; and his cat Precious.
Martin attended Del Norte High School, the University of New Mexico, and the University of New Mexico Medical School. He practiced medicine in Albuquerque, Santa Barbara, California, and Springer, New Mexico. Martin loved poker, guitar, the Lobos, making jerky, and his lifelong friend Pete Gonzales of Dallas, Texas. Following a lung transplant operation six years ago his sense of humor, courage, optimism, and caring for others never faltered.
A private burial will take place at a later date.
